Green River Academy Teams Up with Missoula Children’s Theatre for an Unforgettable Summer Experience!

Elkton, KY – March 1, 2025 – Green River Academy is thrilled to announce an extraordinary partnership with Todd County Board of Education, Beta Buddies, Pennyroyal Arts Council, and Missoula Children’s Theatre to bring the magical world of Hercules to life! Youth entering 1st through 12th grade are invited to audition for this week-long theatre day camp and production, sure to be a highlight of the summer.

“HERCULES”

A Week of Fun and Learning

Dates: June 9–13, 2025
Auditions: Monday, June 9 (Students must be present to participate.)
Rehearsals/Workshops: Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at TCCHS Auditorium, Elkton

During the camp, participants will learn performance techniques, stage presence, and teamwork—no previous experience required! Beta Buddies will host a day camp alongside rehearsals to keep the excitement going all day long.

“Hercules” Takes Center Stage

Join us for a mythical adventure as Missoula Children’s Theatre’s international touring project presents Hercules. Up to 50–60 roles are available, offering plenty of opportunities for budding actors and actresses.

Performance Day: Friday, June 13
Showtimes: 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM
Ticket Prices: $10 for adults, $5 for students

Affordable & Accessible for All

Cost for the Week: $100 per participant, which covers workshops, lunch, snacks, and a Hercules T-shirt.

Scholarships covering 50% of the participation fee are available for students with financial need—because everyone should have the chance to shine on stage!
